Things A Woman Should Have In her Purse

Honestly, I could never understand why women put soooooo much in their purse and take it around everywhere with them. Then I started doing it myself 🙂

I always used to just have my ipod, digital camera and maybe a small pen & paper, now I’m loaded with stuff! It just keeps adding, every time I would go out I would think “I wish I had floss…. I wish I had chap stick… I need a mirror!”

So here are a few essentials:

1. GUM/MINTS
– Honestly, you never know when you’re going to need it. Besides, what if you go out for lunch or have a coffee? You don’t want garlic AND coffee breath do you? What if you run into a crush? 😉

2. HAND SANITIZER
– Isn’t it gross touching doors, dirty ATM buttons, and who knows what else… It’s always best to have some kind of anti-bacterial bottle in your purse. Places like Bath & Body Works now have them in heavenly scents. And they come in travel sizes!

3. ASPIRIN
– Many times I’ve gone out and the dreaded pounding starts. Nothing is worse than a headache. There have been many times I wish I had it. Thankfully I started, and it’s saved my life! Headaches always ruin one’s day. So make sure you grab a bottle and carry a few around. Good thing because IB now comes in “travel” sizes.

4. NOTEBOOK & PEN
– Like the aspirin, a simple notebook and pen has saved me many times! Writing anything you might want in the future comes in handy. What if you need to scribble down a number or address? They have them at Wal-Mart, Zellers, Chapters/Indigo, or even Dollarama!

5. MONEY
– Always have money. I can’t understand people who just carry around cards. What if you need cash? Carry about $20, and about $5 in change.

6. MIRROR
– What if something is in your eye? Or you eat chocolate cake – nothing funnier than someone with chocolate all over their teeth 🙂

7. SNACK
– Just a small baggy (zip-lock is just fine) of various nuts. Or even carry a granola bar, never know when your stomach will rumble!

8. FLOSS
– Refreshens your teeth!

9. DIGITAL CAMERA
– You never know what you’re going to see! I always have mine, even if I’m just walking down the street to pick up a paper 🙂

10. IPOD
– My iPod has been attached to my hip for years 🙂 It goes EVERYWHERE with me… as long as I have my iPod and digital camera I’m set!

11. BOOK
– Thankfully books don’t always come in large/heavy sizes anymore! You can purchase small books that easily fit into your purse!

Photobucket

There are many homemade anti-acne face masks that you can try out. Why would you want to buy one from store shelves, when you can make them yourself and KNOW just what is in it? How many of you out there make your own masks? Share the recipe!

Heavy Cream Easy to Use Facial Mask
The ingredients in this mask consist of heavy cream (1 tablespoon), honey (1 tablespoon) and baking soda (1 gram). This is the fastest mask to prepare and it gets rid of acne just as fast!

Mask 1
Fractionated coconut oil (2 tablespoons), 1 Egg Yolk, Honey (1 tablespoon), Yogurt (1 tablespoon) and Sugar (1 teaspoon). Mix all of these ingredients and process them in a blender. Apply to the skin and let it sit there for twenty five minutes, then rinse it off with warm water followed by a splash of cold water.

To Refresh Your Skin
The ingredients include ¼ apple, ½ peach, ½ tomato, ¼ milk and 1 tablespoon of Almond oil. Peel all of the fruits and mash them up. Add the milk and oil into the mashed fruits and use moderate heat as you stir it. Do this until the mixture turns into a cream. When it cools, apply a thick layer to your skin and leave it there for thirty minutes. This mask will refresh your skin and keep pimples at bay no matter what type of acne you have!

Oatmeal Face Mask
Oatmeal is not just an awesome breakfast food, it is also great for the skin because it helps cleanse and exfoliate. It also helps unclog pores. Mix with honey and scrub it on your face to get rid of dirt, blackheads and acne.

Pumpkin Facial
Pumpkin is excellent for your face because it is rich in Vitamins C and E. It is also rich in mineral zinc. When you use it in facial masks, it is going to help tone and moisturise the skin. No more dryness!

Baking Soda Facial
This is one of the most popular ingredients you will find in homemade acne masks. It really treats acne because it helps get rid of the oil and prevents pimples. It also works as a natural exfoliant.

Citrus Fruit Facials
Citrus fruits, such as grapefruits, oranges, lemons and limes will do wonders for the skin. They have natural antiseptic properties, so they get rid of germs which is one reason why you can’t seem to get rid of acne and they will also help to reduce oil. Choose the citrus of your choice and mix it with wheat flour in order to make a paste. Leave it on your face for twenty minutes, then rinse.

(Apparently this is the best one. I have read about this in almost every article about acne. I think I have tried it once? Have any of you tried this?
Aspirin Mask
It consists of 5-6 uncoated aspirin, lime juice, 1 drop of honey and 1 tablespoon of yogurt.
